Today dear friends from nearby and far far away I have a very important message .
As you know I have a very wonderful friend called Pearl Pig and she is very, very wise indeed.
Pearl has taught me lots of very valuable lessons and this morning she came to my kitchen door holding one of her scrumptious home baked loaves full of delicious grains and seeds, just as I like it and guess what she told me?
Pearl, my very wise and clever friend told me that,
I SHOULD BEGIN TO SEE MYSELF AS A SOUL WITH A BODY RATHER THAN A BODY WITH A SOUL .
Now I thought that was very important news indeed so I have written it in big letters.
Every day from now on I am going to take her advice and begin to see myself as a soul with a Sherbet Sheep body rather than a Sherbet Sheep body with a soul . I know this will make a great difference in my life and make me a much better sheep living as I am on this planet called Earth! Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet realises that caterpillars turn into butterflies!
Happy rainbow coloured Sunday to all of my dear, dear friends from nearby and far far away.
I must tell you that when I took a walk around my garden early this morning, I noticed that so many salad leaves in my vegetable garden had been eaten up by the naughty caterpillars that have decided to live there. I must say I stood for a few moments and wondered how they got there and then I remembered something very important indeed ! Guess what ? Several weeks ago I had watched very closely as some fluttering white butterflies did something strange on my salad leaves. They were laying lots of tiny, yellow, stripey looking, pollen looking things on the edges of the salad leaves!
I now realise that they must have been little caterpillar eggs, hundreds of them ! I then remembered that Pearl had told me that caterpillars turn into butterflies. How wonderful nature is. Imagine a funny, little, wiggly caterpillar starting life as a funny, little, wiggly caterpillar then turning into a beautiful, delicate, fluttering butterfly . What an amazingly, amazing thing to happen! Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet is feeling very blessed to live on this magnificent planet
Here I am in my amazing garden at Clover Cottage in Wiggleway Lane.
Oh how I love my one pink rose.
I can spend hours and hours and hours just gazing at it's beauty.
I do so love to water it with my favourite watering can but I am very, very careful indeed not to give it too much water or too little water.
Ah how blessed I am to have this wonderful garden.
How blessed we all are to share this planet earth with such a scrumptious variety of beautiful flowers and plants .
We must all try our best to keep them happy and healthy so that our planet can always stay a magnificent place for us all to live. love from Sherbetx

Sherbet's Summer Solstice
Oh dear, Pearl just told me that today is the Summer Solstice. the longest day of the year!
I forgot and now it is evening time. I must tell you that here at Clover Cottage it was actually the most spectacularly sunny day that I have seen for weeks and weeks so that news does not surprise me at all.
I am just sorry that I was not outside all day long watching the day go by as it went through it's long journey from morning until evening. Oh well I will just have to be patient until next year comes and I have another chance to enjoy a new Summer solstice. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet is doing yoga today
Good day dear friends.
I am sitting here on my green, green grass on this very fine day. I must tell you that I feel like I want to do a little bit of yoga today.
It does me so much good and my freshly mown grass is the perfect place to do it on.
Oh how I love the smell of newly cut grass , you know I think it could be one of my favourite smells in the whole wide world. I must start my yoga now.
I wish you all a wonderful rainbow coloured day. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet is resting after his morning walk
Oh how beautiful Wiggleway Lane is these days. The hedgerows are full of wild flowers, the butterflies are fluttering happily in and out of the long grass, the birds are chirping in the trees, the bees are buzzing and the spiders are spinning fine, new webs. Oh how blessed I am to be sitting here on this rock surrounded by the simple pleasures of nature.

Sheila Sheep is going to a big hospital today
Today I have a little bit of news. The postman with the red van brought me a letter from my dear friend Sheila Sheep who lives at the seaside. She has told me that today, this very day, she has to go to a big hospital to see a special doctor. Sheila Sheep has a little bit of a problem in one of her lovely brown eyes and the doctor is going to make it all better for her.
So here I am, the famous Sherbet Sheep of Clover Cottage in Wiggleway Lane, sending her a big garden full of flowers to make her feel loved and to tell her not to worry, as everything will be alright. Everything is always alright in the end.

Sherbet is still in the village of Anmer
Here I am a little bit later in my day sitting next to this lovely old sign in the village of Anmer in Norfolk
Look at those scrumptious Roman Numerals. What fun !
Ah how blessed I am to have this time to just be. To just sit quietly listening to the buzzing bees in the hedgerows and the tweeting birds in the trees above me.
I wish you could all be sitting here with me in the sunshine enjoying this day.
Love from a very relaxed and happy Sherbet Sheep in the village of Anmer in the county of Norfolk in the green and pleasant land of Englandx

King Sherbet the First is sitting in a special chair
Here I am in my most
prestigious role as KING SHERBET THE FIRST. I am sorry I do not have my crown on but it is currently having some new jewels put in it.
Well dear friends, here I am at Anmer village church in the beautiful county of Norfolk.
I am siting here in this very special, very old, very big, very comfortable, very precious chair.
Oh how special I feel, how blessed I am to be sitting in this wonderful chair in this beautiful, tiny village church.
I sat very quietly here and said my prayers then I explored and found an old, mysterious wooden door that seemed to go to the bell tower.
I opened it and sat down on some extremely old stone steps. I must say they were a little bit cold and I am glad I had my warm Union Jack trousers on. Here is a picture of me on the steps.
I was not brave enough to climb up the steps as it looked a little bit creepy.
I am going to show you some more pictures of this beautiful little church tomorrow.
I am a little bit tired after all of this sightseeing so I am going to have a little sleep. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet visits Anmer Hall, the future home of William and Kate
Hello dear friends from nearby and far far away. I am talking to you today from a very special place near Sandringham, not far from the Queen's country Estate.
I am sure you have all heard of Prince William of England and his beautiful wife Kate well guess where I am? This is the very place where they will come to live with their new baby.
It is in a beautiful, quiet little village in the county of Norfolk, called Anmer. I am a very honoured Sherbet Sheep indeed to be at this gate but as you see, I am not allowed to go in for a cup of tea as it is private property.
Here is a picture of the house behind the gate. I am very fortunate to be here because soon the lane will be blocked off to give the happy family privacy.
While I was here I visited the village church, Anmer Church, next to this wonderful house, and I loved it so much. In my stories tomorrow and the next few days I will show you my photos during my visit to the church. Oh I can't wait to show you my pictures! Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet has had some very sad news about Kizzy horse
Oh I am so sad, so very sad.
My dear friend Kathy Cat has written to me with some very bad news indeed.
I must tell you all that my very favourite horse in the whole world, Kizzy horse has gone to new green pastures in the sky. Kathy Cat told me that Kizzy broke her leg and could not stay on this planet earth any longer. She was very old and not very strong but I know that where she is now she is extremely happy and has brand new legs to run around with all day long. I will miss her very much, I have such fond memories of riding her through her favourite forest. She loved having adventures with her best friend Kathy Cat too and she will be missed very much .

Sherbet is sitting on a big wooden squirrel
Hello, can you see me?
I am still here in and around the Queen of England's Sandringham Estate in the county of Norfolk in England.
I have just had a lovely cup of Earl Grey tea in the cafe that has been made especially for visitors like me and now I am having a little rest on this huge wooden squirrel sitting cheek to cheek with him. What a handsome squirrel it is .
I must go now as I still have some more adventures to do today. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet is hugging trees today.
Happy Sunday to all of my dear, dear friends from nearby and far, far away and the whole wide world too.
I just feel like I want to hug trees today so here I am hugging the first tree of the day.
Ah how blessed I am to be able to hug this tree.
I am concentrating very hard as you can probably see by my expression.
I have my ear very close to the bark of this tree because I am trying to hear all the little noises that the insects are making as they go about their day.
I am a little bit disappointed as I cannot hear very much at all, maybe there are no insects on this tree today. Maybe I will have more luck on the next tree I hug.

Sherbet is sitting in a patch of lavender
Oh how beautiful the English countryside is !
Here I am sitting in a patch of lavender listening to the birds singing in the trees. Oh what a delectable perfume these flowers are blessed with. It is the kind of perfume that makes me feel all relaxed and I just want to fall asleep right here in the flowers. In fact that is just what I am gong to do . I will see you when I wake up.
Love from a very sleepy, happy Sherbet Sheepx

Sherbet congratulates Queen Elizabeth
I am here today to say a very big congratulations to my Queen. 60 years ago on June 2nd in 1953, as a very young lady, she was crowned at her coronation and became Queen Elizabeth II.
This was because her dear father King George VI passed away to a new Kingdom in the sky. For his daughter Elizabeth, this meant a whole new life full of responsibility and corgis.
I had invited her to Clover Cottage to celebrate this special month with myself, Doodle Dog, Mango Mouse, and Pearl Pig, but she very gracefully declined the invitation as she had to be at Westminster Abbey in London with the rest of her family and lots of friends, so she did not have any time at all to find her way to Wiggleway Lane.
I am planning a garden party with my dearest friends in the garden of Clover Cottage next weekend so if you would like to join me there you are all very welcome indeed. Love from Sherbetx
Sherbet wishes Prince Philip a very speedy recovery
I do hope my Queen is not feeling too sad today.
I heard that her dear husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, is in hospital.
I am here to say that I wish him a very speedy recovery and I truly hope he will be back at Buckingham Palace soon.
Maybe, when he comes out of hospital he will be able to have a lovely rest at the peaceful Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
I just wanted to say that I am sending all of my best rainbow coloured healing thoughts to him today and all of the days that he is in hospital.

King Sherbet the first at Sandringham Gates
Here I am sitting at the top of these high gates at the entrance of the Queen's Sandringham home in the beautiful county of Norfolk in the green and pleasant land of England. Ah how beautiful these gates are, can you see that lovely little crown at the top? I wonder if it would fit me? Maybe I should climb right up to the top and try it on . I think I would look very handsome as King Sherbet !
These iron gates are really spectacular. Here is a little history lesson. They are called the Norwich Gates and have the most beautiful intricate design of flowers and leaves. They were created by a very clever man called Thomas Jekyll. Here in my other picture you can see a little bit of the detail .
The flowers look like poppies to me, one of my favourite flowers in the whole wide world. I grow them in my garden at Clover Cottage. It is a little bit strange to see them all in black when in real life they are a scrumptious shade of red.
I must climb down from these gates and continue on with my sightseeing day.

Sherbet is feeling very sad at the grave of Prince John
Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear, I am so sorry you have not heard from me for lots of days.
As you can see I am still being a bit of a tourist and looking around the countryside in the county of Norfolk in this wonderfully green and pleasant land called England.
You may be wondering what I am doing looking so sad sitting at this grave stone. Well, you see, this is a churchyard very, very near to the magnificent country house in Sandringham, where the British Royal family all love to gather, especially at Christmas time to walk their corgis, to go horse riding and to enjoy the peace and quiet. This little grave is of Prince John, you may not have heard of him as he died when he was only 13 years old. If you look closely in my pictures you can see the words written on the grave stone. Prince John was the 5th son of King George V and Queen Mary, the present Queen of England's grandparents.
You can see that he was born on July 12th 1905 and died January 18th in the year 1919. Oh what a long time ago that was. I do hope he doesn't mind me sitting next to his resting place but I am feeling very sad that he could not have lived longer on this planet. I am sure though that he is now playing in lovely green fields filled with wild flowers and is very happy in his new home.
