HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AND TO MY DEAR FRIEND REGINALD RABBIT

Oh my dear friends from nearby and far far away,
how I have missed you all.
I am writing to you on my birthday and the birthday of my dear friend Reginald Rabbit who no longer lives on this planet Earth. Oh how I miss him.   I know though that he is very happy in his new, rainbow coloured, light filled life and I am sending him all of my love today .
I am also sending him a special message to say thank you for being the best friend a sheep could ever have and I am hoping that I will see a love filled vision of him very soon in my vegetable garden . I wish he could still be here with me but I know I will see him again one day.
Happy Happy Hoppy Hoppy Birthday  Reginald Rabbit.  Love and huge hugs from Sherbet Sheepx

Sherbet is grateful to be back in his cosy bed

Ah, how luxuriously cosy to be back in my own bed again after spending so many nights sleeping on leaves in my woodland hut.
I am so grateful to have this comfy bed but  I am so glad I spent time in the peace and quiet of the forest watching the birds. It was so wonderful just to be still and to live right there in the present moment with just the sounds of the little creatures snuffling about in the undergrowth and the leaves rustling in the wind. I did miss my kitchen and my vegetable garden but I had my wise words books with me and a very good wind up lamp which did not need electricity. What a wonderful invention for  an adventurous sheep like me and for anyone who likes to sleep in dark, lonely, forest huts under pitch black night skies with just twinkling stars and creepy crawly things for company!  Oh, now I am scaring myself so I am going to sleep.
 Goodnight  from me, Love Sherbetx

It's my birthday! Happy Birthday to me! Oh, I'm so excited!

Oh it is so exciting. Today at 3 in the afternoon I am having a birthday party. I will not tell you how old I am as a sheep never tells his age. I have so many of my old friends coming and lots of new friends so I am looking forward very much to having a lovely party with lots of fun. If you will excuse me now I cannot write much as I am expecting Mango and  Doodle and Pearl to come and help me get Clover Cottage ready for my big  event. We have to prepare lots of tasty, healthy food for our guests and decorate the house with lots of colourful balloons. All of my vases will be filled with fresh flowers from my garden, I will give that task to Mango, he loves picking flowers and he always picks the ones with the best scent. I often find him in my garden with his nose in the flowers. You are all very welcome to my party and I look forward so much to seeing you all there. Here is a picture of Clover Cottage so that you can find it easily when you reach the other end of Wiggleway Lane. If you get lost please just ask one of the other guests that you will see walking along the lane and they will guide you to Clover Cottage. I will be waiting for you at the door to welcome you to my amazing garden and to my wonderful party. Love from Sherbet x

Sherbet and his friends visit a farm

Today, Mango, Pearl, Doodle and I went for a walk to the nearby farm at the end of Wiggleway Lane. It was lovely to be out in the fresh air especially for me as I have been resting in my cottage and I have missed being outside. I do try to go to work in my garden everyday, even when it is very cold. For our walk we made sure we had our waterproof boots on as we knew it would be muddy at the farm. As we turned into the farm gates we saw all the farm animals coming to greet us from the field that they lived in. There was a pig a bit like Pearl, a sheep a bit like me, a horse, a cow, a hen and my favourite type of dog, a friendly black and white sheep dog. We gave them some apples from my tree, they were so happy to see us. The farmer didn't let them come out of the field as they may get lost but we said hello to them and told them we would come again soon.
