Happy Sunday from Sherbet Sheep

HAPPY SUNDAY
to all of my dear and loyal friends all over the world and other planets.
I am just sitting in this church this morning as I want to give thanks for all the blessings I have in my life.
 I know I don't have to sit in a church to do that  but it is so quiet in here and I feel so full of peace that it seems to be just the place I need right now.
I am all alone in here  and I just love this wonderful sound of silence that is floating around my ears.
Oh this is the perfect place to feel grateful in.
 I am grateful for all of my good friends,  I am grateful for the abundance of fresh vegetables and herbs that grow in my garden. I am grateful for all the little creatures in my garden too.  I am grateful for Clover Cottage and my cosy kitchen and freshly baked bread . I am grateful for my good health that makes me strong enough to ride my bicycle and climb trees to rescue baby blackbirds and I am just so grateful every day to be  blessed with this rainbow coloured life of mine.

Sherbet is missing Reginald rabbit today

Today is a very sad day for me.
 It is 2 years since my dear friend Reginald Rabbit went to live in a very special, peaceful place far far away.                  
I do miss him very very much indeed but I know he is really happy to be where he is and for that I am very glad . So I am happy for him but sad at the same time.  I know I was extremely blessed to have had him in my life for such a long time and I want to send him a special angel to watch over him in his new home and tell him how very grateful  I am for every single thing he did for me.
Dear Reginald rabbit, I can feel your love and I know you can feel mine.
I am so happy that you are free and in peace. All my love from your very dear friend Sherbet sheepxxx

Sherbet is counting his many blessings

Phew!   Here I am sitting on a rock in my garden after my hard work yesterday.
 How nice to know that my garden is all tidy and watered again.  I really do deserve a rest.  I have just eaten a delicious sandwich made with home made, crusty, grainy bread, made lovingly and brought to me this morning by my dear friend Pearl.  I have also enjoyed a lovely, refreshing cup of hot mint tea and all is well and tranquil in my garden here at Clover Cottage.  I do love just sitting here listening to the birds. They remind me of the birds in the forest at the seaside.  How dull life would be if we didn't have all of these wonderful little creatures around us to share this planet earth with.  I am just going to sit here quietly and give thanks for all of the blessings in my life. What a long list I have but I must include all the little creatures in my garden and in the forests and in the sea and in Wiggleway Lane, I must not forget fresh, warm crusty bread, good friends, Pearl's home made blackberry and apple pie and home grown vegetables and I must not forget to be very thankful also for feeling healthy every day because that is a very big blessing indeed !  I am truly blessed.  I do hope Sheila sheep is feeling much better now so that she can be blessed with feeling healthy every day too.   Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet knows everything always turns out right

Hello my dear friends from near and far far away.
 I am just going to sit on my grass and meditate today. I am feeling very calm and contented and I know that everything always turns out right for me, so I never have to worry about anything at all. I am truly blessed and truly grateful.  I wish the same lovely, calm, contented feelings for every one of you and I know that everything that happens to you will be as it is meant to be and everything will always be alright in the end even if sometimes your days do not feel full of rainbow colours.

Sherbet is so grateful for his home grown lettuce

Oh how lovely it was to share a meal with my dear friends Doodle, Mango and Pearl yesterday evening.  I picked my best salad leaves from my vegetable garden to make sure we had a delicious healthy meal. I am so grateful and happy that I have such a wonderful variety of lettuce in my garden, I have red lettuce, curly lettuce, dark green lettuce, light green lettuce, lettuce with long wiggly leaves, lettuce with short round leaves and  lettuce with raggedy looking leaves. They are all so tasty, some have a peppery taste, they are Doodle's favourite but Pearl says she only likes them mixed in with the other leaves.
 We were very lucky also to have some delicious big red ripe tomatoes straight from my garden vine and one juicy cucumber.  I was sorry to have to take away some of the shelter from my caterpillars but I know they will understand.  Before my friends arrived, I was so excited that I waited at my front door to wait for them and to welcome them to Clover Cottage. I am very blessed to have such wonderful friends.

Sherbet feels very blessed

Oh what a pleasant morning it is at Clover Cottage. I woke up very early to the sound of bird song and as I walked into my garden to enjoy the feel of the morning sunshine on my face and to breathe in the lovely fresh air I looked up and saw rows and rows of pretty birds singing sweetly in the trees. How wonderful, what a beautiful way to start my day. I said hello to them all and thanked them for choosing my garden to sing their lovely chorus in. I am sure it made a very pleasant start to the day for all the little creatures in my garden too. I have heard that the best things in life are free. How true that is ! Sunshine, bird song, little creature friends, new and old friends from near and far, walks along Wiggleway Lane, the perfume of the flowers in my garden and the fruit and vegetables that grow in all the colours of the rainbow. I am so blessed to have so many things around me that give me joy.

A very sad day for Sherbet

Today is 12th December 2011 and it is a very sad day for me. One year ago today I lost my very dear human friend Reg Clark. Reg helped me so much, he believed in me and watched me grow into the sheep I am today.  I am so blessed to have had him in my life. Reg loved the birds in his garden as I do. He loved to hear them sing, especially in the morning, he loved to feed them and to quietly watch them. Today I am holding one of my birds just for him. I miss him very much but he lives on in my heart. Thank you Reg for always being there for me.
