Wishing you all a wonderful New Year

Dear friends from far far away and nearby,
It is the day before the new year begins, here I am celebrating with my fruity drink.
I have had a very nice year with lots of love and blessings in my everyday life.
I have enjoyed my simple little life and my garden here at Clover Cottage. It has made me happy to look after all the little creatures that appear at my kitchen door from time to time.  My bees and hedgehogs and frogs and blackbirds and caterpillars and naughty slugs are all healthy and doing very well indeed so I am grateful for that. Pearl pig, Mango mouse and Doodle dog are still my loyal, forever companions and I am blessed to have them in my life .
I wish you all a wonderful new year with peace, love and happiness all around you.

Sherbet finds daffodils in his garden

As you may know dear friends from nearby and far far away, the weather has been amazingly warm for this time of year at Clover Cottage. My little garden has been surprising me with some very early spring flowers. I peeked out of my bedroom window this morning and there nestling next to the blackberry bush was a big clump of daffodils in full bloom. Oh what a joy to see them there. I just could not resist picking some to put on my kitchen table.

The lost reindeer.

Happy Sunday dear friends,
This reindeer is going home. He has spent 2 nights here at Clover Cottage after finding himself lost on Christmas eve.
He told me that he was flying through the sky with the other reindeer when a big puff of cloud blew him away and he could not see through the fog. When the cloud lifted he could no longer see Santa and his reindeer friends and so he dropped down into my garden where I found him looking lost and lonely under my big oak tree.
It was wonderful to have him here as my Christmas guest.  I hope he drops in again next year. Love Sherbetx

Merry Christmas from Sherbet Sheep

Dearest, loyal friends from nearby and far far away.
I am here to wish you a very merry Christmas and the best new year you could ever imagine having.
I know the years are travelling by very fast indeed and  I only hope I can run fast enough to keep up, well, no that is a very silly thing to say because the years have gone by already and unless I am running backwards how can I ever catch up, now then looking at that sentence again  I am thinking to myself that my brain must be very tired indeed as it  does not make much sense to me at all . I must try to have a good night's sleep and maybe my brain will work properly in the morning.  Also if I go to bed early it gives Father Christmas more time to climb down my chimney and bring me presents .
Luckily I have not had to light my fire lately so he will be quite safe . I would hate to be the one to melt santa's boots. Oh dear , I am very ,very tired , I have to go to bed now.

Hello from Sherbet

Oh dear, dear precious friends from nearby and far far away, do please forgive me for staying away so long.
I have just been here, there and everywhere and I have not been able to spend time on my stories.
I just had to say hello to you all to let you know that I am still very much alive ( you may see that I am carrying my lucky 4 leaf clover and that keeps me safe - and fortunate too !) I know Christmas is coming near but I am a little bit too busy to even think about it at the moment . Luckily I have already wrapped up some gifts for Pearl, Doodle and Mango so I do not have to worry about that. I did find the time to put up a little Christmas tree in Clover Cottage and decorate it. It is twinkling at me right this minute. It is a very friendly tree.
Love from your long lost friend Sherbet Sheep x
