Rainbow coloured blessings to my dear friends both near and far far away.
Well, as you can imagine, my garden has suffered a little bit while I have been away. My dear, helpful friends Pearl and Doodle have been busy and not been able to tend to many garden tasks at Clover Cottage. Little Mango was here living in his watering can as usual and watching the garden, he is a very helpful little mouse indeed but he is so little that he cannot do big, tiring tasks.
Anyway, here I am today working hard in my garden, the grass needs cutting, the weeds need pulling out, the hedgehogs need their milk, the birds are waiting in the trees for their breadcrumbs and my vegetables and flowers and my one pink rose need watering . As you can see, I am a very busy Sherbet sheep indeed, so please excuse me for not writing lots and lots today. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet has some exciting news about tomorrow
Here at Clover Cottage, it has not rained for quite a few days and I woke up worried about my one pink rose. After eating some delicious toast ( with my favourite home made bread left over from yesterday) with Pearl's home made blackberry preserve, I rushed into my garden to check on my rose and sure enough there was the poor little thing all wilted from lack of water. What a sad sight to behold! I ran to get my pink watering can, filled it with water and gave my dear, precious rose a wonderful long drink of water. It felt my love and I saw that it started to revive at once. It stood straight and proud again, splendid against the blue sky. Oh what a delight to see my rose back to complete health again!
I must tell you some exciting news. Tomorrow, Pearl will have a lovely road side stall full of her delicious home made produce and I invite you all to join me there. It is in the countryside near the other end of Wiggleway Lane, past the wooden village sign and opposite the big old oak tree. Pearl really does make the most scrumptious things and I know you all will enjoy the delightful sight of all her products on her stall. It will be truly magnificent! I do hope to see you all there. Sherbet's miracle pink rose
I heard a huge torrent of rain falling down in the night and I woke up worried about my one pink rose. I rushed outside even before I had eaten my breakfast and to my relief, my dear, pink rose was still there standing upright with all of it's petals. It must be a true miracle rose as when I looked at some of my new little salad seedlings they were flattened down. I do hope they pop right up again. I can see the sun coming out now so they should be OK. The only bad news of the day was that I saw 2 slugs eating my tomato plant, the rain must have brought them out of their hiding places. I do love all the little creatures in my garden and I want them to be happy but I just had to lift off those 2 slugs ( wearing my gardening gloves of course, and I don't mean the slugs were wearing my gloves I was ! ) They were oh so slimy and slippery and gooey but I managed to pull them off of the tomato leaves and I put them in the field next door so they could find a new home. Now my vegetables are safe again. Thank goodness! Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet sheds a little tear as he says goodbye to Reginald Rabbit
This morning I was very sad as I had to say goodbye to my very precious friend Reginald Rabbit.
We shared a very tasty breakfast together of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, porridge with blueberries and crunchy toast spread with Pearl's special homemade marmalade. Reginald enjoyed his breakfast very much. For his very long journey, I gave him a packed lunch including some juicy red apples from my tree and some sandwiches made with Doodle's delicious homemade granary bread. Reginald walked around my garden one more time saying goodbye to all the little creatures that he is always so fond of, and we walked down the path together to my garden gate. We gave each other huge squeezy hugs and Reginald promised to visit again as soon as he could.
I waved goodbye to him and watched him go all the way until he disappeared around the bend in Wiggleway Lane. I did shed a little tear but then I thought the best way to be happy again is to go and water my lovely Spring flowers and my one pink rose so that is exactly what I did and it really did make me feel better. Reginald Rabbit is always in my heart and I look forward to the joyful day when we will see each other again.
