Sherbet's wonderful world

Ah, how lovely to just sit here in the sunshine all alone with perfect peace and quiet around me. What more can I say except I wish the whole world could be as peaceful as this place here in my picture. What a truly wonderful world it would be if every animal and every human being could wake up every morning feeling completely peaceful and completely safe and completely happy all day long and all week long and all month long and all year long and all life long.  Ah yes, that would truly be a most magnificent world. Ah ! Peace at last

Ah, peace at last.  Dylan dog has left to go back to his town house.  He popped in to have breakfast with his cousin Doodle on his way home and I do hope for Doodle's sake that he was not dancing all the way through breakfast!  I am sure he must be quite worn out after all of that action over the last few days      

I am here at Clover Cottage, enjoying a quiet breakfast all on my own with just the sounds of the birds singing in the trees outside. Oh what joy.  How wonderful to be here alone with my thoughts and how blessed I am to be living in this wonderful cottage with my amazing garden outside.

I wish you all a truly magnificent day doing whatever it is you love doing best.

Oh! It is nearly Christmas

Oh, I almost forgot.  It is nearly Christmas day.
 I have been so busy here at Clover cottage and I live such a quiet life here with my garden and my little creatures that I did not realise what day it was.
  I truly wish my friends from nearby and far far away the most wonderful  rainbow coloured day tomorrow,  the 25th December.   I know that some of my friends live in such far away places that they may not celebrate that day as we do here in Wiggleway Lane but  I still wish them a day filled with love, happiness, peace and rainbows.

Sherbet is meditating today

Here I am.  I have had such a busy mind lately that I have decided just to sit quietly in my garden and meditate today.
As I am meditating I cannot talk to you, so please forgive me. I will instead send you  the most wonderful rainbow coloured, peaceful blessings and I will talk to you again soon.

Hello everyone.  A very happy and blessed Sunday to you all. I am having a real day of rest today.
 I have decided to sit on my grass and meditate, so here I am now sitting in perfect peace surrounded only by my tweeting birds and all the little creatures in my garden - that all seem to be still asleep ( except for my birds of course) I am sending you all rainbow coloured blessings and I hope you all have a lovely peaceful day too. Sherbet is sitting on a rock today

Hello everyone, I do so hope you are all having a wonderful rainbow coloured day full of the best blessings you could ever wish for.
 I myself am very happy after my evening last night with Pearl, Mango and Doodle. We all sat around my kitchen table and enjoyed sharing the most delicious rhubarb pie that Pearl has ever made. I have been patiently waiting for the rhubarb in my garden to ripen for a very long time now and it was all worthwhile, as here I am now sitting on a rock in my garden with my tummy still full up with scrumptiousness.  I am just resting today and enjoying the peace around me so I will say goodbye to everyone for now and I am sending big woolly Sherbet Sheep hugs to all of my friends that are nearby and far far away . Sherbet is grateful for a wonderful day

It is such a lovely sunny morning here at Clover Cottage  so I am at the moment  riding my bike along Wiggleway Lane to the local village to buy some more seeds for my vegetable garden. I am taking special care to notice all of the trees and hedges and wildflowers on the side of the lane ( I am trying also not to fall off my bike as I wobble when I look sideways !) Kathy Cat has taught  me all of the names of nearly everything I am likely to see. She is very clever and knows everything about gardens and nature.
 I am also going to treat myself to a little picnic on the way back. I will find a lovely shady tree, sit underneath it for about half and hour, eat my banana, drink my orange juice and quietly sit in peace and enjoy the silence. Oh I wish you could all join me on this wonderful day under the tree in Wiggleway Lane. I am so grateful for a day like today.  Love from Sherbetx

Meditation, silence and peace

Oh what a lovely sunny day here at the seaside. Sheila Sheep and I will start our day just sitting on the beach watching the waves rolling in and out .  When we have finished doing that, we will just have a peaceful time with our thoughts, as we do not feel like talking much today.  We will find a comfy spot in the sand dunes and just sit side by side and enjoy the silence. We will meditate for twenty minutes and then I think we will collect shells and feed the seagulls. Yes, that seems like a good plan for our day.  I only hope I do not get sunburned ear tops, I can hear Pearl’s advice in my head this very minute, she is telling me to be sensible and to put some sun cream on my ears, nose and cheeks ! 

Sherbet sits in his garden and thinks and thinks and thinks

Well this morning I woke up feeling a bit tired so I am also feeling very lazy. I do not want to work in my garden today, I do not want to even tidy my cottage, in fact I don't want to do anything but sit and think. I will think and think and think and maybe a great thought will come to me. Who knows, while I am thinking, I may think of something that has never been thought of before, I may think of something that hasn't been invented yet, I may think of great ways to save the planet or I may just fall asleep!!  Anyway I am going to just sit quietly in my garden and feel the peace all around me. I will listen to the  birds singing and the wind blowing through the leaves on the trees and I will just relax and rest and tomorrow I will be as fresh as a daisy and get back to working in my
garden. Do not disturb. Love Sherbet x

 HAPPY NEW YEAR to everybody in the whole wide world. I would love to see everyone from all the different countries of the world hold hands and dance together. 

For this new year of 2012, Pearl, Doodle, Mango and of course, me Sherbet, would like to say to the world: "We wish you PEACE, LOVE, KINDNESS, GOOD HEALTH, HAPPINESS, FRIENDSHIP and MORE LOVE as LOVE is all."

Sherbet Sheep tells one of his favourite poems

I want to tell you one of my favourite little poems. It is about a garden as you may have guessed. I love to recite it especially when I am happily working in my garden or just relaxing in my chair after a worthwhile day's work. Here it is.

Isn't that just wonderful!  I really do feel that when I am in my garden I am in a blissful place. It gives me so much joy and peace and contentment. I know that my dear friends Pearl, Doodle and Mango agree with me too.
