Happy Birthday Sheila Sheep

Happy Birthday to my dear and loyal friend Sheila Sheep. I have known Sheila Sheep ever since we were both little lambs . Here I am, in this picture, giving her lots of presents with a truly scrumptious birthday cake on top.
I must tell you that I have sent a pretty little gift with the postman in the red van to take to Sheila Sheep at the seaside I do hope he drives fast enough and delivers it safely to her in time.
 What fun it is to have birthdays.  My own birthday is February the third just like Reginald Rabbit.
That is a long way away but I am still looking forward to it as it is a time when Pearl bakes me her special delicious, scrummy, nutty,  chocolate cake .
Mmmmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
 I do hope Sheila Sheep will have some truly scrumptious goodies to eat on her birthday.

Sherbet has new boots

Oh what a lovely day I had yesterday.
 As you know it was my birthday.  The very same day as the birthday of Reginald Rabbit.
 At half past five yesterday evening  Pearl, Doodle and Mango arrived at my kitchen door.  It was a little bit cold outside,  so I quickly invited them in to share the wonderful warmth of my log fire.
  How lovely it was to see them on my birthday.  How blessed I am to have such wonderful friends.
 Pearl announced that she was going to cook a delicious birthday meal for me and so she began to prepare an amazing selection of rainbow coloured vegetables -  with the help of Mango and Doodle. They were all so very kind and told me to sit and relax on my comfy chair in front of the fire while they did all the work.  What luxury !  I found myself being spoiled all evening long by my dear, precious friends.  After dinner and a truly scrumptious birthday cake,  they each produced a gift for me.  How exciting !   Each box was the same size  but wrapped in different coloured paper.  In  the first box  given to me from dear, wise Pearl,  I found a beautiful new pair of red boots,  I put them on straight  away, they were a perfect fit.  You can see me wearing them in the picture.  The next box was given to me by Doodle, and guess what ?  Inside I found another pair of boots, this time they were black.  How lovely !  The last box was given to me by dear, little Mango mouse,  he watched me open the gift with great excitement!   And guess what again ??    Inside the box I found another pair of new boots and this time they were grey !   Oh what a lucky Sherbet sheep I am to have so many pairs of new boots.   I can't wait to wear them all,  but only one pair at a time of course.  How kind and thoughtful my friends are.  I am so grateful to them all for making my birthday so special.

Sherbet is a little bit worried about Sheila sheep

Oh, hello dear friends.  Here I am back at Clover Cottage. How delightful it is to be sitting on my grass again after all those weeks of  snow.
 I am a little bit sad today though as my dear friend  Sheila sheep is a little bit unwell.  She is resting and trying to feel well again.  For the last days of my visit to her she was not able to come out for walks with me.  I did miss her very much in those days as we always have such fun together.  We laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh.  I know that she will be better very, very soon though as her very good and kind friend Mark mole is looking after her extremely well.  I am so grateful to know that he is caring for her and I am sure that he is making her big bowls of lovely, rainbow coloured, healthy soup.

 Soon it will be my birthday. My birthday date is 3rd February, the same as that of my special friend Reginald rabbit. Maybe Reginald will be able to visit me on that day and we can share  the delicious birthday cake that Pearl is going to make me.   Love from Sherbetx

Today is the birthday of Sherbet's special friend

What an exciting day it is today.
 It is the birthday of one of my very best friends.  He is a very private person so I am not going to tell you his name but I just want you to know that he is a very precious friend and he is always there when I need him.
 We will have one of our really good adventures today.
 I am going to take him to a lovely, perfect place and treat him to a delicious lunch.  We will celebrate his very special day together. What fun we will have.
 This morning, Mango, Doodle, Pearl and I gave him lots of birthday gifts and birthday cards. Oh how we love birthdays!  Every year we all get a little bit wiser and a little bit closer to being the best person we can ever be.  Every year we find we have more rainbow coloured  blessings and more rainbow coloured adventures.  How blessed we all are to be living on this planet called Earth with all the little creatures and all the plants, trees and flowers.  Happy rainbow days to all of my friends everywhere.

Sherbet is a little bit worried

Oh dear, I am a little bit worried today because it was Sheila sheep's birthday yesterday and I am not sure if the postman with the red van has delivered her present yet.  I do hate to be late with things, but as Sheila sheep lives far far away at the seaside, it is a long way for the postman to drive to.
 I will just have to be patient.  Pearl always tell me that patience is a virtue and that everything is always alright in the end.
 Anyway, what I am going to do to stop me worrying is to give Sheila sheep this lovely pot of flowers in my thoughts, as I know that it is always the thought that counts the most.  I know that she will catch my thoughts in her head and receive the flowers. So until the postman delivers her gift, she will be happy to have the thoughtful flowers.
   I do so hope she had lots of fun on her birthday and I do so especially hope that she had a scrumptious birthday cake to share with Mark mole and maybe even Fifi fish, if she could find her.  If Sheila sheep could have been here at Clover Cottage we would have had a party and Pearl would have baked one of her most delicious cakes.  I wish everyone good and lovely thoughts today as thoughts really do count!

What an amazing birthday party!

What an absolutely wonderfully amazing birthday party I had yesterday. Thank you all so much for sharing it with me. Clover Cottage looked so beautiful, full of multicoloured balloons and vases of flowers that Mango so kindly gathered from my garden. I had such a lovely surprise, all of my closest relatives came from their fields near and far. They were in such a happy mood and had such fun dancing the conga all around my garden. We all laughed and clapped with joy.

Then it was the turn of all the pigs from the farm at the end of Wiggleway Lane. They all danced in a long long conga line too. Oh what fun we all had watching them. It was so exciting that we all joined in, and our conga line spilled over into Wiggleway Lane. I hope we didn't disturb my neighbour the farmer. Oh how we all enjoyed ourselves. We had rainbow coloured cupcakes and we played all our favourite party games. I knew a surprise was coming to me, and Pearl told me to close my eyes. Everyone gathered around and became very, very quiet. Even the birds in the trees had closed their beaks. Even the frogs in the pond had stopped croaking. Even the caterpillars had stopped munching the lettuce. Even the hedgehogs had stopped rustling in the leaves. There was perfect silence. All of a sudden everyone started to sing:

I opened my eyes, and, oh my goodness, there stood two beautiful fairies holding a stupendous birthday cake. I could not believe my eyes, the cake was so huge and full of all the colours of the rainbow. Pearl cut the cake and Doodle and Mango handed everyone a scrumptious piece each. It was such a lovely cake, I think it was called a fairy cake. How so very kind of my best friends to do this for me. I am so very blessed and I am so very grateful to have such wonderful friends, both old and new and how lovely to see all my relatives again. My old friends Reginald Rabbit, Kathy Cat, Milly Mouse, Kizzie the horse, Sheila Sheep and Mark Mole stayed the night cosily in my cottage as they came from far far away. Thank you all for coming to my party. It was so wonderful.  You know you are always most welcome. Love Sherbet x
