Sherbet has escaped to find some peace

Oh my dear friends from nearby and far far away!  I am so sorry that I have not written my story for a little while. I must tell you that  I have a very good reason. You see, I have escaped to the seaside to find some peace. You may wonder why I had to find some peace . Well, let me tell you that  I could not stay at Clover Cottage because the frogs in my pond have been croaking so loudly all night long that I have not been able to sleep very well. Every morning I had woken up with tired eyes because of my naughty, noisy frogs so I decided to come here to this beach as it is a very, very quiet place indeed and there is not a frog in sight. All I can see are crabs and all they do all day is run  into holes in the sand. You will be glad to know that I am catching up on my sleep and I  am collecting shells to add to my nature corner back at Clover Cottage. Sherbet is back from the seaside but very tired

Hello dear friends everywhere.
 I have just arrived back from my little holiday at the seaside and I am very, very tired after my long journey.  The sea air has been very good for me, it is little bit different from my lovely fresh country air here at Clover Cottage and it has left me feeling feel full of lovely rainbow colours. As I am so very tired I am going to have a long sleep in my cosy bed and when I wake up I will tell you all about my adventures at the seaside. See you all tomorrow, I should be awake by then.

Sherbet counts sheep to fall asleep

Last night I could not get to sleep, maybe I was thinking too much about who could have left me the red rose. It was very beautiful and it did not come from my garden as I only have one pink rose. I have not seen Pearl yet to ask her what she thinks. Anyway as I could not sleep I thought to myself what can I do to make myself sleep. I remembered my grandfather telling me that whenever I could not sleep I should lay quietly with my eyes closed and count sheep in my head so that is what I did and guess what? It worked! In no time at all I was asleep the last thing I knew I had counted up to 15 sheep and then I must have fallen sound asleep. What good advice my grandfather had given me.

Sherbet is so tired after working in his garden

Oh I am so tired. I spent all morning weeding and planting new seeds in my garden. But how lovely to spend time sitting on my grass with my friends this afternoon. Pearl made daisy chains, Doodle spent his time drawing the frogs on the pond and Mango went to sleep under the oak tree. I just sat happily watching the birds in the sky and feeling the sun on my face, it reminded me of being on holiday again with my old friend Sheila Sheep. I miss her and wish she could be here now to enjoy this time with us. I am very grateful to have such good friends in my life .
