Sherbet has an unexpected guest

Oh dear.  You will never guess who I have staying with me here at Clover Cottage.  It is Doodle's cousin Dylan dog.  He lives in a town quite a distance from Wiggleway Lane and  is rather a different type of character to Doodle,  as cousins so often are.
You see, Doodle is a very creative dog who lives a very quiet life and loves to be alone in his design studio where he works in silence most of the day (apart from the bird song and the sounds of nature all around  him.)   His cousin likes to play loud music and dance all day long and that really does not suit the peaceful atmosphere that Doodle needs for his work, so he has asked me if I would welcome Dylan to my home for a few days. Of course I said yes, even though I too lead a very peaceful life.
I wondered whether I had made the right decision though when I awoke this morning to the sound of a big thumping drum beat vibrating the windows of my cottage. Oh my goodness that did feel a little alien for my quiet country life but I do like to help others when I can so I will put ear plugs into my  ears and  be a perfect host!   I will see you all again tomorrow. Please do wish me luck with my very lively guest!
Love from Sherbet x

Crocodile Dream

Last night I had a very silly dream and I cannot imagine why I had that dream. I was fast asleep all night long and when I woke up I remembered my dream straight away as though it were real. Now that I am telling it to you, it seems even sillier. There was a dancing crocodile. he was dancing across a stage, there was very catchy music playing and he was singing along to the music. He just kept dancing backwards and forwards and I was being entertained as if it were a Broadway show but I was the only one in the audience! A show just for me alone! I have no idea what this dream could mean but it was a happy dream and so I imagine it must mean something happy. He was not a scary crocodile, he was a friendly crocodile, he was even wearing a wristwatch! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I will ask Pearl if she knows anything about dreams. She probably does as she is very wise and always has good answers to my questions and my problems. I am so lucky to have a wise friend like Pearl.

The cows had a surprise party for Daisy and danced around the field in a long line

Kizzie, the horse from the farm at the end of Wiggleway Lane told me that there had been a very jolly birthday party for the cows that lived in her field. One of the cows called Daisy had a birthday and all the other cows had planned a surprise party. Kizzie said that they played lots of happy music and danced all together in long lines around the field. All the other animals stood around the edge of the field and watched and clapped as the cows danced past them. What a glorious sight to see so many happy cows all together dancing like that, I wish I had been there to see it. I hope Kizzie tells me when the next party at the farm is so I can go and watch the fun too.
