Mango is eating feta cheese in Sherbet's kitchen this evening

I must show you the pretty bottles of olives and cheese that Doodle made for me while I was staying with him.
Here is a picture of one of them, it has cubes of feta cheese mixed in with olives and some herbs. I must admit I do not like the taste of feta cheese very much as it is too strong for my delicate taste buds but I know that Mango will be delighted when I serve him some on his very special tiny plate. I will invite him to dinner tonight and he can sit on his very own corner of my tablecloth and nibble the cheese cubes to his heart's content.  I also still have some scrumptious leftover apple pie so we will eat that with lovely warm, yellow custard and then share a quiet evening together. We will chat about all the things that happened in my garden while I was away, locked out of my cottage, and then we will go into my comfy room where I keep my books and relax with delicious mugs of hot chocolate and I will read some wise words to Mango from my wise words books. It will be a very pleasant evening indeed. Just to remind you all to please keep yourselves very safe as the world outside of my perfect Clover Cottage can sometimes be a very dangerous place. I am sending all of you in the entire world some very special guardian angels to keep you protected. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet shares an important little poem

Happy Sunday to you all.
My goodness how time flies! I cannot believe it is a whole week since last Sunday.  It makes me realise that I must never waste time. Oh! That  reminds me of a little saying that I wrote down as a note to myself quite a long time ago when I was a much younger Sherbet Sheep. Here it is, I have never forgotten it.

THE GREEDY CLOCK TICKS BY FOR YOU
SO DON'T WASTE TIME WHATEVER YOU DO !

You see, it is very easy to remember, as it is like a little poem.  Now, that reminds me again that today I must not waste time so I am now going to go into my garden and see if there are any tasks that need doing, if not I will come back inside Clover Cottage and tidy up all of my bits and pieces. When I have done that I will relax and have a nice Sunday, but while relaxing I will make sure I still do not waste time and I will settle down under my oak tree and read some wise words from my wise words books. I send you all lots of lovely blessings on this lovely Sunny Sunday and I do so hope you all have a truly wonderful day today.  Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet spring cleans Clover Cottage

I have been so busy spring cleaning Clover Cottage this morning that it has worn me out.
I dusted or washed every single little thing that I could find, even an old pair of Mango's boots that he left here.
I  took all of my books with wise words in, out of the bookshelf and wiped each one with my duster even though they had no dust on , maybe that is because I am always reading them so they do not get a chance to sit around for long !
Anyway  I have just made myself a lovely refreshing cup of mint tea with fresh mint from my  herb garden and I am going to just sit on my flowerpot and relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Sherbet and his friends are cooking together today

 Here I am again.
Hello to all of my dear friends nearby and far far away. I have been rushing around trying to tidy up Clover Cottage, I made my bed at full speed and picked up all of my books with wise words in ( that were scattered all around my house, ever ready to give me inspiration )  and put them back on the shelf.  I have Pearl, Doodle and Mango coming over to cook a meal with me.
I am wondering what we shall cook, but I have started to put some of my home grown rainbow coloured vegetables on my kitchen table, I have beautiful, orange, crunchy, fresh carrots and spectacular, juicy, purple aubergines that I know some of my friends from far far away call eggplant !!   I know that Doodle, Pearl and Mango will also be bringing something else to add to it  so when they come we will invent a delicious meal with the ingredients we have.  Doodle is especially good at inventing as he his very creative, just as Mark Mole is. It is a pity Mark Mole lives so far away by the seaside otherwise we could invite him too. Pearl is the expert in the kitchen and she will  make sure that nothing gets burnt! Mango loves to help with the little tasks like picking up peelings from carrots and adding crunchy nuts to the meal. Oh well I must go now as there is so much to do. I hope you all have a wonderful rainbow coloured day. Love from Sherbetx
