Sherbet is doing yoga today

Good day dear friends.
I am sitting here on my green, green grass on this very fine day.  I must tell you that I feel like  I want to do a  little bit of yoga today.
It does me so much good and my  freshly mown grass is the perfect place to  do it  on.
Oh how I love the smell of newly cut grass , you know I think it could be one of my favourite smells in the whole wide world.  I must start my yoga now.
I wish you all a wonderful rainbow coloured day. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet is sitting in daisies

Oh what joy ! There is nothing better than sitting on fresh, deliciously, grassy smelling grass with millions of little daisies growing out of it.  Oh how blessed I am to be able to enjoy this simple pleasure.
As you can see I am wearing my country clothes.  I am a true country Sherbet Sheep today.
I know you may have missed me lately,  I have certainly missed you. I must tell you that I have been a little bit busy touring around some of the most delightful places imaginable.  You will see my photos here on this story page.  Ah now,  I must leave you as I am going to lay down on this grass and look up at the clouds. Sherbet is getting ready for his follow up Olympics

Dear wonderful friends all over the world,
Now that the big, huge, famous spectacularly rainbow coloured Olympics in  the great city of London are finishing, I can concentrate on getting Clover Cottage ready for my very own Olympics on Tuesday.
Here I am checking to make sure the quality of my grass is good enough for my special athletic guests, especially the 2 goats from Greengate Farm who are my guests of honour as they have never been here before..
Yes I think the grass is fine, lovely and green and fresh and springy and up to Olympic standards so that puts my mind at rest.  See you all bright and early on Tuesday for the follow up Olympics  hosted by the famous Sherbet Sheep of Clover Cottage in Wiggleway Lane. Blessings to you  all.. Love from Sherbetx

Doodle paints a beautiful picture of Sherbet's sunflowers

What a lovely sunny morning today in my amazing garden. As I walked out of my cottage door with my watering can, ready to water my flowers. I was amazed to see how wonderful my sunflowers were looking. Their heads were all turned towards the sun and their petals were glowing in the sunshine. They had grown so tall and were swaying in the gentle breeze.  As I was standing there admiring their beauty, Doodle arrived at my garden gate and as usual he had his paint brushes with him and his paints and sketch pad. He walked over to join me and  he said he had never seen such wonderful flowers before. He could not wait to sit down on the grass to paint them. Luckily the grass was very dry as the sun was quite warm. I brought him a jar of water from my kitchen to wash his brushes in and left him in peace while I watered my other flowers. I almost forgot he was there, he was so quiet. I finished my tasks in the garden and looked over to see that he had painted  a truly beautiful picture of my sunflowers.  He was delighted with it and so was I. We took it into the cotttage and found a nice frame for it and now it has pride of place on the wall. How lovely to have such a talented friend like Doodle.  He has brightened my day and made it even sunnier than it was already.

Sherbet is so tired after working in his garden

Oh I am so tired. I spent all morning weeding and planting new seeds in my garden. But how lovely to spend time sitting on my grass with my friends this afternoon. Pearl made daisy chains, Doodle spent his time drawing the frogs on the pond and Mango went to sleep under the oak tree. I just sat happily watching the birds in the sky and feeling the sun on my face, it reminded me of being on holiday again with my old friend Sheila Sheep. I miss her and wish she could be here now to enjoy this time with us. I am very grateful to have such good friends in my life .

Sherbet buys new salad seeds for his garden

It is nearly the weekend again. Today I will buy some new salad seeds from the garden shop and tomorrow I will plant some. I have lots of weeding to do too and then in the afternoon I will ask my dear friends to come to my garden to sit on the grass with me. How lovely to spend some quiet relaxing time with my best friends.
