Doodle is drawing Sherbet today

Doodle has been very clever and has drawn some pictures of me in my garden. I was sitting eating my porridge this morning when
I heard a loud knock on my kitchen door. When I opened it there stood my dear friend Doodle holding his drawing book and his pencils. he told me that he had woken up bright and early full of inspiration and he just could not wait to gather up his pencils and start drawing.  His first thought was me!
 How lovely ! I do love being a model !  We went into my garden where I frolicked around happily doing what I love to do and Doodle captured it all in his magical way on his drawing book paper. What a wonderful talent he has. I think maybe when he goes home he may put lots of rainbow colours onto his drawings, but for now here I am showing you the lovely drawing of me and my hosepipe. I am very proud to have such a wonderfully creative friend like Doodle. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet gets a big letter from Doodle

Today, the postman brought me a big letter from Doodle and in it he had put a lovely painting of some trees. He told me that when he went for a nature walk with Kathy Cat, she taught him all of the names of all of the trees in Wiggleway Lane. He was so inspired by the lovely trees she showed him that he decided to paint them. I see that he has not put the names of the trees underneath so I think he has already forgotten their names. I think I should invite Kathy Cat to come and stay again so she can take him on another nature walk and remind him of all of the names. Sometimes Doodle does not listen properly as his head is always full of lots of creative thoughts but we all forgive him as he does paint such lovely pictures.

A visit to Doodle's art studio

Today Pearl, Mango and I visited Doodle in his art studio. It was so exciting. He has so many interesting things to see there. He has tadpoles in a jar, painted stones, a book about frogs and a book about painting. The thing we loved best of all though was that he showed us how to paint a big pot. He said we should use our imagination and that there were no rules and we could paint anything we liked on it. Doodle painted big insects on his pot, I painted big spots on my pot, Pearl painted flowers on her pot and  Mango painted leaves on his pot. It was so much fun and we were all very proud of our lovely colourful pots . Doodle said we should all keep them in my garden and grow flowers in them.  We all thought that was a great idea. I am so proud to have a wonderful, creative friend like Doodle.

Today is the 7th December. Happy Birthday to our lovely, creative human friend Barbara. Happy, happy birthday from all of us, Doodle, Pearl, Mango and of course me Sherbet. We are celebrating by sharing the delicious, blackberry and apple pie that Pearl made us. Barbara, we are sending you a special blessing and big hugs for your birthday. xxxx
