Mango is eating feta cheese in Sherbet's kitchen this evening

I must show you the pretty bottles of olives and cheese that Doodle made for me while I was staying with him.
Here is a picture of one of them, it has cubes of feta cheese mixed in with olives and some herbs. I must admit I do not like the taste of feta cheese very much as it is too strong for my delicate taste buds but I know that Mango will be delighted when I serve him some on his very special tiny plate. I will invite him to dinner tonight and he can sit on his very own corner of my tablecloth and nibble the cheese cubes to his heart's content.  I also still have some scrumptious leftover apple pie so we will eat that with lovely warm, yellow custard and then share a quiet evening together. We will chat about all the things that happened in my garden while I was away, locked out of my cottage, and then we will go into my comfy room where I keep my books and relax with delicious mugs of hot chocolate and I will read some wise words to Mango from my wise words books. It will be a very pleasant evening indeed. Just to remind you all to please keep yourselves very safe as the world outside of my perfect Clover Cottage can sometimes be a very dangerous place. Pearl welcomes Sherbet home with a delicious apple pie

Oh how lovely.  This morning there was a knock on my kitchen door and when I opened it, Pearl walked in bringing with her a delicious,warm, home made apple pie. It was wrapped in a lovely piece of cream coloured linen and had the most delectable smell you could ever imagine. How kind Pearl is. She told me it was a welcome home present. She had been very worried about me,  I am not away from Clover Cottage very often except when I go on my adventures to the seaside or to visit Kathy cat. I am hoping though to go on a very exciting adventure to a foreign country maybe next month, it is a secret at the moment but if I do I will show you my holiday photos. For now I am very content to be settled back into my cosy kitchen where I can sit at my table and enjoy sharing my delicious apple pie gift with my very dear friends, Pearl, Doodle and Mango. I will just run over to invite Mango now, I am sure he is in his watering can at this very moment preparing a cheese and breadcrumbs breakfast for the blackbirds that live in the trees above him. Hooray Sherbet is back in Clover Cottage

Hooray!   Here I am back in very own dear, special, cosy Clover Cottage. Finally I now have a new key especially made for me by one of Doodle's very clever friends.  In fact he made me 2 keys so I now have a spare one and I now have to find a very secret place to hide it in my garden so that if I get locked out again ( which knowing me, I may just be silly enough to do) I will be able to get in quite easily.  Doodle was very kind to let me stay in his art studio while my key was being made. Sheila Sheep wrote to me and told me that I should hang my key around my neck which is a very good idea and I think I will do that, but it may get in my way when I am doing my garden tasks, I would hate for it to dangle in the mud or in the pond while I am kneeling down to talk to my frogs.  I am so happy to be home again as I know all of my little creatures missed me and certainly my vegetables look as though they need a very good spray with my water hose, so I must be going now to freshen up all of the lovely leaves, flowers and fruit  in my garden. Sherbet has locked himself out of Clover Cottage

Oh dear, I am very sorry to have been so silent for so many days. You will never guess what happened to me. I am a very silly Sherbet Sheep indeed because I locked myself out of Clover Cottage and i could not find a way back in again. It was early in the morning and I had just thrown some breadcrumbs onto my grass for my blackbirds when a huge gust of wind slammed my kitchen door shut !  Oh dear, what a difficult situation I was in. I walked around the whole of the outside of Clover Cottage to see if I had left any windows open. Not one window was open. Oh dear what was I to do. I sat down on my flowerpot and had a really good think. I was not really worried as I know I have a big invisible  ring of protection around me that keeps me safe. I have always had it, so I knew I would be alright as I always am. I have  found that whatever happens to me in my life, even horrible, upsetting, sad things, I am always alright in the end so I knew a solution to my problem would come. I sat and I sat and I thought and I thought. What was I to do?  Luckily it was a sunny day and early in the morning so I had a whole day of daylight to sit on my flowerpot and think. The minutes passed and I could think of no way to get back into my cottage. Suddenly, exactly one hour later I was very lucky indeed to see Doodle dog walking down Wiggleway Lane towards me.  He must have heard my thoughts blowing through the wind and caught them in his ears.  My saviour! He told me I must go home with him and stay as his guest in his art studio he would ask a very clever friend of his to make me a brand new key.   So, my dear friends from all around the world and nearby, I am still with Doodle and I am still waiting for my new key. I am actually having a nice little holiday here and Doodle is very kindly looking after me very well and making me lots of cups of tea. He has made me a different kind of tea that does not grow in my own garden. It is fennel tea.  I still prefer my very own mint tea but Doodle told me his fennel tea, made from lovely green, feathery looking leaves, is very good for me.  I do miss all of my things that are locked inside Clover Cottage but I am sure I will be back soon. Mango brings a gift for Sherbet

Oh what a sweet little mouse Mango is.  This morning he knocked on my door very early and gave me a gift of two perfect cherries.  What a lovely surprise for me to start my day with.   Of course I invited him in to my cosy kitchen and we sat and enjoyed a delicious breakfast together. I have a big jar of my special home made muesli on my kitchen shelf and it was a delight for me to share it with my little friend.  I am afraid my chairs are much too big for Mango to feel comfortable on so he sits on top of my table on his own special corner of tablecloth.  I keep a little mouse sized bowl and spoon in my cupboard  just for him. he knows he is always very welcome at Clover Cottage.  I had invited Pearl and Doodle too but they are much too busy this morning.  Doodle is painting in his art studio and Pearl is busy making more of her delicious fruity jam to sell at her roadside stall.

Sherbet is being a very healthy Sherbet Sheep indeed

I just cannot stop doing yoga!  I felt so good after my lovely upside down pose yesterday that I woke up bright and early to do a little bit more.  After this little yoga session, I will make myself some delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and eat some of my home made muesli.  I especially love the crunchy nutty bits in it and the juicy raisins and cranberries.  Yummy!   I must invite  Doodle, Pearl and Mango to share some of my delicious muesli tomorrow morning.  They will probably notice that I am being a very healthy  Sherbet Sheep indeed.  Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet loves yoga

Oh my goodness, I can see you but you are all upside down.  Oh silly me I forgot I am doing yoga right now.   I must tell you that I have been doing much more yoga lately and I feel all lovely and loose in my joints and muscles.  I am getting better and better.   As you can see I am here in my garden doing a shoulder stand.   It makes my face a lovely bright pink colour but I do not mind that at all.  I seem to be very good at this position but not so good at the headstand as it squashes my pink ear tops.  I do love yoga!   I must say goodbye now as I have to concentrate on my yoga poses.   I will see you again soon,  hopefully when I am the right way up.  Love and rainbow coloured blessings  from an upside down Sherbetx

Sherbet is feeling truly blessed

Ah, it is a little bit cooler today but the sun is still shining so I am making the most of the lovely weather and I am sitting out in my garden.  Oh how lovely to just sit here and relax.  The birds are singing all around my ears and  I can hear the hedgehogs rustling happily in the leaves around my compost heap.  I think I can even hear the naughty slugs munching on my lettuce!   Oh what a joy to be alive and to feel happy and  healthy and to have so many little creatures sharing my garden with me.  I am truly blessed and I am wishing that millions of true blessings fly through the air and reach all of my friends both nearby and far far away.  Love from Sherbetx
