Sherbet's holiday home

A big happy hello to all of my dear and loyal friends from nearby and far far away.  Here I am wishing you all a very GOOD FRIDAY indeed. I must tell you that I am still far far away from Clover Cottage myself and I am showing you a picture of my charming little holiday home . It is the smallest house I could find and it it is still a little bit big for me.
I know it looks like it may be a little bit dark inside but at the back I have a great big window with a spectacular sea view. I can sit and watch the boats going in and out of the bay as I sip my drink . Oh what a lovely drink I have, you may think it looks like milk as it's all white but it is made with delicious fresh coconut and I will eat those little pieces of fruit afterwards, I think one is pineapple and the other one is melon made into a little ball. Yummy .
Here I am with a very big and scrumptious drink indeed .
It is very, very peaceful here and I have decided that for this Easter weekend I am going to sit in silence and not utter one single word.
I am going to stay alone with my thoughts and I am going to meditate and count all of my blessings

Sherbet is sitting in a banana tree

Oh what fun!  I have had a nice walk today in the countryside.  Here I am sitting in a banana tree. I am afraid they are not ripe yet so I cannot eat one.
It is lovely to find free food from the trees,  just like at Clover Cottage.  In my garden at Clover Cottage though I cannot grow bananas  because the weather is not warm enough especially now as I have heard there is lots of snow in Wiggleway Lane at this moment. I am very glad to be here in the warm weather although I am being very careful not to sit in the sun too much as my ear tops will definately become pinker as will my face. It is best for me to stay sitting in the shade of a banana tree.
I must tell you that I did find my very own  small sized baby banana tree, just the perfect size for me . You can see it in my photo  here on the left.
I am having so many adventures and  I can't wait to show you more of my photos.
Oh what a fortunate Sherbet Sheep I am to be having such a wonderful adventurous time here in St Lucia.  I wish you could all be here with me
 Love from your friend,  Sherbetx

Sherbet goes to Hotel Chocolat !

Oh what yummyness.
I am here at a place called Rabot Estate  where they have lots of cocoa trees and a hotel called Hotel Chocolat !  What a wonderfully delicious name for a hotel.  The hotel is not made of chocolate but as you may imagine there is chocolate everywhere here,  chocolate drinks, chocolate in recipes, chocolate bars, even cocoa beans in big sacks.  As you can see I am sitting on one of those sacks right now.  You can see all of those little cocoa beans inside, I must say it was a little bit lumpy and bumpy to sit on but I did not mind as I had the scrumptious smell of cocoa drifting up into my nostrils!  I could have stayed there all day.  Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet likes the new Pope's name

Here I am  again in St Lucia, standing with the famous  Piton Mountains in the background.
From this magnificent place I want to congratulate the new Pope on his important new position as the new Pope!   Well, really I also want to say that I love the fact that he has called himself after Saint  Francis of Assisi.  As some of you may know,  Saint Francis of Assisi is my most favourite Saint in the whole wide world .
I wish Pope Francis a very long and happy life  in his brand new life as Pope Francis.
Love from Sherbet Sheep of Clover Cottage in Wiggleway Lane currently on holiday far far far away from home.

Lost in St Lucia. Can you find me ?

 Wow look at me !
I hope you can see me, I am quite hard to find.
I am actually lost in the jungle and  I really don't mind as I am having a huge adventure.
I did remember to bring my sandwiches with me and I have a lovely juicy mango that I picked from a tree before I got lost, so I will be able to survive in case I cannot find my way out. I can hear a little waterfall trickling somewhere close by so I will have plenty of fresh water to drink, I may even have a little swim!!
I will see you when I manage to escape from here.  I wish you could all be here with me to scramble around in these lovely green leaves.  Love from  a very adventurous Sherbet sheep indeed!

Sherbet is swinging around in the jungle

Oh what fun ! Here I am swinging around in the jungle  just like Tarzan!
I am still a little bit jet lagged after my long journey from Clover Cottage to St Lucia but I am now getting used to living 4 hours behind my usual life. I am so looking forward to all the  adventures I will have during my time here. There are so many things  and places to explore.
For now though I am very tired and am going to have a little sleep under this bush. I am feeling very warm but lovely and cosy at the same time .  See you when I wake up. Love from Sherbetx

Sherbet has arrived on a tropical island

Oh dear friends how I have missed you !
I have been so busy packing my suitcase and putting everything in order at Clover Cottage that I have had no time at all to talk to you.
I have a wonderful thing to tell you.
This morning I had to wake up very, very, very, very early to take a huge aeroplane called Virgin Atlantic to a beautiful tropical island in the Caribbean . The island is called St Lucia.
I  was a little bit worried as my seat belt on the plane was very big and I could not see out of the window.
I solved one problem because I found some cushions and a lovely soft red blanket and I sat on those to  make myself taller so that I could watch the clouds go by.
Oh what fun!  The only trouble is I don't remember much because after I had enjoyed a truly delicious meal high up in the sky and read a few pages from my  wise words book,  I  was so comfortable and felt so tired that I fell asleep and I didn't wake up until lots of   hours later. I found myself looking down at a lovely green mountainous place and I realised that we were nearly there.  How very exciting it was.
All of a sudden, the next thing I knew, we were landing on the island.  Looking out of the window,  I saw the sea and the beach and lots of swaying palm trees and beautifully coloured little houses on lush green hills. It was all so very different from Wiggleway Lane .
As I walked down the huge aeroplane steps, the beautiful weather just flowed over me,  I felt truly lovely and warm, the breeze was gentle and the sun was hot.  I collected my suitcase and the first thing I did when I left the airport was to go and sit on the beach, as it was very close by. I found a  tall, tall palm tree to sit under.  How lovely it was.  I sat there  listening to the waves, feeling very contented. I am happy to tell you that I immediately found a new friend.    I am showing you him in my pictures.  He is a beautiful big purple crab, he lives in his shell and is a little bit shy so he would not come out for his photo. Here he is below and also above,  in my pocket.  He reminds me of my friend Clive crab who lives in the sea at the seaside near the home of Sheila sheep.
Lots of love from  a lovely, warm travelling Sherbetx
