I went to the Harvest supper and made lots of new friends. How delightful it was . I loved listening to everyone chatting away happily and laughing and joking. It made such a nice change for me as I am sure you know that I live alone at Clover Cottage. I do love being alone and spending my days in peace, but I am sure it does me good to spend time in company like I did last night. The food was so delicious and I especially enjoyed the apple crumble made with apples from a very special, old local apple tree. Oh dear I am feeling very tired, so I must have a little nap now .
